Piccolini
At Bambini, our Piccolini room is your baby's nest, a home away from home.
Piccolini means 'little ones' in Italian. Our Piccolini Room provides a nurturing, home-like environment for our babies and their families. The educators in this room follow the children's routines from home, to offer stability and consistency. Leisure time enables the babies to explore a range of age-appropriate and sensory experiences. Experiences include music and movement, stories and puppets, gardening, cooking and painting.
As an award winning baby day care centre, we create a warm, caring and nurturing space. Just as importantly, our INSPIRE Curriculum recognises that an infant's brain doubles in size in the first year, and by age three it has reached 80 percent of its adult volume. This is why a quality early years learning curriculum, like that offered by Bambini, is critical to your baby's holistic development.
Implementing routines from home
We value family partnerships and recognise families as their baby's first teacher. Educators work with families to implement each child's routine from home for eating, sleeping and play.
Establishing daily routines helps your baby feel safe and secure, including sleep times, feeding habits and different play activities. We understand that these routines are constantly evolving and change regularly. The Bambini team continually monitors your baby's routine and communicates regularly with parents to ensure your infant feels safe and secure.
Our Bambini Baby Curriculum
At Bambini of Lilyfield, we are passionate about inspiring young minds. It is deeply ingrained in everything we do.
We provide an innovative and nurturing early learning environment that is academically excellent, developmentally responsive and socially equitable. We embrace our unique approach and are committed to inspiring young children to become resilient, adaptable, emotionally intelligent and articulate leaders.
Our Bambini Curriculum is rich in the key learning areas of mathematics, literacy, science, music and creative arts but also supports your baby's language, cognitive, physical, social, emotional and creative development.
Learning about themselves, and their world
We know this is an exciting time as your baby starts to engage with the world around them. Our educators provide experiences that help your baby to learn more about themselves and their world, stimulating their brain to create the foundations for learning.
We implement gentle movement, music, massage, tummy time and creative play to support your baby's development.
Implementing safe sleep routines from home
Our early learning childcare centre has beautifully appointed sleep rooms with individual cots to support your infant's sleep routine. Our educators are guided and trained to ensure your toddler is getting their best sleep in a nurturing environment.
We partner with you to learn about your baby's sleep schedule and implement this into their routine at Bambini. We follow evidence-based advice for sleeping from Red Nose to keep your baby safe.
“The best education does not happen at a desk, but rather engaged in everyday living.”Vince Gowmon
