Family workshops

At Bambini of Lilyfield, we love collaborating with our families and the community. We implement family workshops throughout the year as opportunities for families and children to bond, learn and inspire one another.

We have run workshops such as The Conscious Parent educational series, focusing on challenging behaviours, nurturing resilience in children, as well as transitioning to big school for our preschool children.

Community events

We love getting involved with our community, and at Bambini of Lilyfield we are always creating opportunities for our children to engage and actively participate in the world around them.

We frequently run community events such as Art Auctions for Kids Xpress, Market Night for Camp Quality, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day breakfasts, Grandparents’ Day Morning Tea and so much more.

Workshops and events we have run

Family Workshops

Family Workshops at Bambini of Lilyfield are designed with the view that when families, educators and community work together we achieve the best possible potential for our children to thrive and grow.

Nurturing Resilience in Children

Nurturing children’s ability to build resilience in challenging situations, including supporting families by outlining strategies to deal with this.

Re-thinking Behaviour

At this workshop, participants were encouraged to think about the challenge of guiding behaviour – and to consider that maybe it’s time to re-think children’s (and our own) behaviour.

School Readiness

Starting big school is a big milestone for our children and their families. This workshop explored the importance of getting children ready to start school and looked at insightful ways to help children adjust to new routines and expectations.

An Evening with Allied Specialists at Bambini of Lilyfield

At this evening, allied professionals presented information to Bambini staff and families to support them in their work. Bambini of Lilyfield is an inclusive learning environment that believes that early intervention for children under the age of 5 years is important.

Health Seminar – Natural Stress Management for Families

This was presented by Nutritionist & Naturopath Jade Bertolasi and Women’s Fitness and Nutrition Coach Amy Mitchell via Zoom for an insight into stress, how to manage it and some natural ways to boost your resilience.
